In this gorgeous setting of the traditional German Carol, the arranger has created a compelling and dramatic musical vision. An easy piano part (required), along with tasteful percussion writing (including suspended cymbal, sleigh bells, wind chimes, and triangle) sets the stage for the first statement of the melody, presented in solo viola. A key change and several tempo changes keep this arrangement moving forward to an ultimate peaceful resolution.
