The Old Faithful Rainbow
- Composer
- Davide A. Pedrazzini
This piece was inspired by a documentary on Yellowstone park the composer watched on television. The energetic character of the famous geyser Old Faithful is reflected in the upbeat character of the music. Evocative of the power of the massive eruptions, the strong first theme makes dynamic use of percussion. The expressive second theme represents the rainbow that sometimes appears behind the steam.
