Variations on "Russian Sailor's Dance"

Using Reinhold Gliere's famous dance melody from the ballet The Red Poppy, arranger Bobrowitz creates a very engaging set of variations that should have your students clamoring to play it every day! After a mysterious Russian-sounding chorale, Gliere's theme is powerfully introduced in the low brass and reeds.
