Harvest

HARVEST, an exciting symphonic overture for wind band, evokes the power of persistence.  In order to reap bountifully in harvest time, one must first put faith in a seed, nurture it in abundance, and allow it time to grow and ripen.  While painting the musical picture of a vast, rural American landscape stretching to the horizon, this powerful work for mature bands draws on the influences of 20th Century composers such as Aaron Copland, Leonard Bernstein, and John Williams.
