In Retrospect

Far too often in band music previous musical journeys are retraced with only slight variance from what has come before. In Retrospect is on the opposite end of the musical spectrum form such fare. It presents a kalideoscopic musical scenario that dashes all expectations and taks the listener far into uncharted musical terrain. Commissioned by the Manchester, MI high school senior class of 2004 the work commemorates the musical journey and growth experienced during the eight year term of exceptional teacher Jared Throneberry.
