String Orchestra
Loch Lomond
Loch Lomond is a traditional Scottish folk song, first published in 1841 in Vocal Melodies of Scotland. The original composer is unknown, but the poem is attributed to Lady John Scott. The music perfectly captures the Scottish flavor, and one might even think they hear the sound of bagpipes after the pizzicato section. This beautiful, poignant arrangement ends with a feeling of reverie.
